The Ohio Chapter of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OCAANP) is a professional association of naturopathic doctors (NDs) who live and work in Ohio. Our members are graduates of accredited four-year, graduate-level, in-residence naturopathic medical schools. The OCAANP is dedicated to advancing the principles of naturopathic medicine and expanding Ohio consumers' access to this important natural, prevention-based form of health care.

The Run: Moving Natural Medicine Forward
On July 17th, Dr. Dennis Godby, ND began a 3,258 mile run across America to promote awareness of Naturopathic Medicine. He will be reaching Columbus, OH on the weekend of October 15-16, which coincides with the Columbus Marathon. The OCAANP (Ohio's Naturopathic Association) will be hosting a variety of events during this weekend to promote Naturopathic Medicine in Ohio and to support Dr. Godby and The Run. The OCAANP has created a team of runners for the Columbus Marathon, "Team Natural Medicine," to raise money for The Run. Please support our efforts by choosing to donate money to the cause.

The Run and Columbus Marathon Events
- Friday, October 14th
- The Run Landing Event at EquiVita (1508 Hess St, Grandview, OH 43212, Ph: 614-298-8781)
From 3pm to 6:30pm there will be a series of talks about Naturopathic Medicine, including a talk from Dr. Godby.
- Columbus Marathon Expo: The Nationwide Insurance Columbus Marathon Expo features more than 120 sports and fitness booths and attracts more than 50,000 people in a two-day period.
Hall D of the Greater Columbus Convention Center (400 N. High St.)
noon to 7pm
The OCAANP has a booth at the expo.

The OCAANP has a booth at the expo.
- Dr. Godby will be doing a 1 hour lecture at 1pm in the lounge area of the expo
- Sunday, October 16th
- The Columbus Marathon, race starts at 7:30am
